Hi
In the Group policy for Windows 2012 Server you can turn off access to the Shutdown, Hibernate, Sleep buttons which I have always done. However, after installing RDS Knight these settings are not respected. Perhaps that is just a coincidence but now these items are shown. I checked the Group Policy and the policy is still enabled. If I re-apply the Group Policy the buttons disappear until I login in again.
Has anyone else seen this problem and found a way to fix it?

Group Policy - Shutdown Button
Re: Group Policy - Shutdown Button
Hello,
Yes this is a normal behavior as RDS Knight does erase all existing GPO settings. We plan on enhancing this behavior in the future.
You can prevent shutdown button from being activated by using the secured desktop feature.

Re: Group Policy - Shutdown Button
I would certainly like the Shutdown, Hibernate and Sleep options policy to be followed so that remote desktop users cannot accidentally shutdown the server etc. It might even be helpful if TSPlus had an option for this in the Admin tool or it was the default setting.
