SaveAs Dialog

Post by dcipher » Tue Oct 10, 2017 11:35 pm

Hi

I have several users who have been using TSPlus for years but recently they started to see the Save As dialog when they access their application. What is causing this issue. They are using TSPLus version 10.3.5.15 on Windows 2012 Server.

Thanks,
Simon

Hello,

I recommend you to update to the latest release to solve this issue as there were so instabilities identified with release before 10.40 and the new universal printer.

Hi

We are using TSPlus 10.50.10.11 and the problem still exists. We created new portable clients and that did not help. We ran the /clean option and that did not help. It does not happen using the HTML version. It does happen with the portable client or using mstsc.exe. It only affect two clients on the server, no one else has the problem. One client is using Windows 8.1 but I do not know what the other client is using.

Thanks,
Simon

Hello,

This issue may occur if you updated from a version 9 to version 10 as the universal printer driver has also been updated.

First of all you need to check for the presence of the older version of the driver in the control panel / printers. Select a printer and click on "Printer server" properties, if the CustPDF driver is present, delete it.

Then open an admin tool / server tile and click on "Universal Printer management". There you will be able to remove the current Universal Printer driver and reinstall it.

CustPDF is the older driver, and GhostPDF is the new one. Choose the one that matches your preference, though the new one is better :)
