Universal Printer: local printer selection "hidden"

Post by famengual » Mon Nov 06, 2017 11:32 am

Hello, we are using TSPlus to provide several users with Software as a Service (remoteapp). It works like a charm, we are very happy with performance and stability.

But, some users complaint about printing:

We have Universal Printer 3.0, and we configured that the user can choose to which printer they will send their jobs. And in some computers the "second" printing selector don't appear on top, it stays "behind" our software window. Of course they can "Alt+tab" until that window appears, but some or them get lost and keep complaining that "...printing doesn't work..."

Is there any parameter we can change to "force" the printing always on top??

Thank you very much!

Hello,

The client-side TSPLUS component will always ask for the window to appear in the foreground.
However in rare cases other applications or components block this operation.
For these users, you can offer to open the document in PDF format, the client can then print it.
