IE11 requires a triple mouse click

Post by eday » Fri Mar 03, 2017 5:18 pm

Hi, for some reason in IE 11 mouse clicking requires a triple click instead of a double click.
This has happened since installation (Dec2016) and I am on the latest version now and update and it's still happening.

And ideas?

You mean the user has to click 3 times to make the TSplus session do a double-click?
And it's not a problem in Firefox or Chrome?
It could be the "Hang Resistance" feature in IE that might be messing something up. Try to follow this guide to disable it:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... r-versions
I think it's enough to restart IE after the change. Just test it on one computer - if it works, then great, if it doesn't then reset the configuration.

Thanks for the tip, but it didnt make any difference. You are correct, this only is a problem in IE, but as that is our corporate standard and this will be used on very locked down desktops, Firefox or Chrome is not an option.
I'll keep investigating

Hi,

stiop please to use compatibility mode with IE11 and it will behave as modern browser then.
Actually I do not experience your isse with
https://demo.tsplus.net
on IE11

PS: on next version there will be workaround for compatiblity mode of IE7 engine, where IE misses mousedown before mouseup action on double click.

Hi thansk for the info but unfortunately neither fixes the problem. im convinced its a setting in our IE11 configurations, as my personal win 10 laptop with the exact same version and patch level IE11 does not have the same problem as the work PC.
Unfortunately its finding the right setting to change thats proving difficult
