UniversalPrinter not working at 9.60

Hello guys,

we have an issue with the universalprinter.
The Servers were running since the last update a few days before but suddenly the universalprinter stop working correctly.
The Printer-Device is still in "Printeroverview".
We print with it and nothing happens - the printjob gets done in the queue, but no PDF, no printdialog, nothing..

The local C: is mapped, we already uninstalled and reinstalled TSPlus on one server. No Improvement! :-(
The strange is, that on an other TSPlus server in a completly different environment there ist the same issue.

We have noticed, that the Universalprinter.exe is not running in taskmanager.
if I remember correctly, there was a task in taskmanager at every usersession.

The virtual printer in webbrowser runs perfectly. The issue is with the universal printer in ms rdp, TSplus generated rdp client, webbrowsers.

Anyone who had the same issue?

Servers:
Windows Server 2012R2
8x CPU
24 GB RAM
300GB HDD
Runs for the last 2 years nearly perfect.

Clients:
Windows 7 - 10

Hello,

You are correct : a universalprinter.exe process should be running for each of your users. This file is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus\UserDesktop\files so make sure it is there along with the universalprinter.bin file. If these files are not there, check the quarantine of your antivirus and apply the latest TSplus update.

Edit the properties of the Universal Printer and make sure that the CUSTpdf driver is correctly set in the advanced tab.

Hi Oliver,

thanks for the reply. A little bit special solution for the problem:
We reinstall TSPlus (current 9.60) in Version 9.50 - then install the universalprinter manually - then update to the latest version.
This fixed it for us.

Same here!
universalprinter.exe is not running.
if i try to run it manually it does not remain loaded.

Also i can't find a scheduled task for load it at logon.
¿What's the correct method to recreate that task?

Where can i get the UniversalPrinter standalone installer?

We are in 9.70.12.19 (today release)
Windows 2012 R2

Edit: Scratch that, seems like the file has been removed and it seems like TSplus has problems with the domain.

Hello,

The UniversalPrinter.exe patch is no longer available. Update your current version of TSplus in order to reinstall the Universal Printer.

I've already updated (today) from 9.70.12.18 to 9.70.12.19 and no luck.

Hello,

Unfortunately we had to remove the universalprinter patch today as google considered it a malware... Which is not true of course and as result our main download site has become unavailable today.

So you will have to uninstall TSplus, reboot and reinstall TSplus for this purpose.
