Hi all,
My application on the TSPlus server works fine, except for one thing.
When I generate a report, I save this on a local drive. This takes terribly
long, even for really small files.
I know that file transfer for RDP isn't the biggest invention, but does anybody
has a tip to speed things up.
Thanks for any help.
Best regards,
Aad

Re: Saving a file to a local drive.
Doing a search on it, a lot of people are complaining about slow RDP transfers: https://www.google.com/#q=windows+rdp+f ... sfer+speed
Seems like you shouldn't expect more than a few hundred KB/sec - if it's something you need to do often and you also control the client, you could setup something like https://syncthing.net/

Hello,
Some people uses the PDF preview of the Universal Printer for this purpose. The reason why is that the print job is converted to PDF before being pushed in a much quicker way than when using standard RDP file transfer.
The other method is using our file transfer application for generated connection client, which is much faster too : http://www.terminalserviceplus.com/docs/file-transfer
