Hello All
I have come across an issue where my installed ports of:
HTTP - 81
HTTPS - 444
have just stopped listening.
I have a number of sites with this setup and our demo server has just stopped?
I can assign 445 but every time I try to correct back to 81 or 444 I get a message" The port XXX must be assigned to HTTP/S web server process..."
I have also attempted to manually alter the AppControl.ini but that has not helped.
Note that nestat also does not show 81 or 444 in nestat but the ports are currently open in our modem router.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Sean
Web Server Ports Stopped?
Re: Web Server Ports Stopped?
Hello,
1) Remove your current installed Java 32 bits version
2) After uninstall, remove the reminding C:\Program Files (x86)\Java folder and in C:\ProgramData (hidden folder)
3) Download from Oracle site the Java 64 bits offline installation package
4) Install it
5) Restart the TSplus web servers

Re: Web Server Ports Stopped?
No go.
Just uninstalled.
Rebooted.
Installed 64bit as advised.
Rebooted.
Still I cannot assign PORT 444?
*I have port 443 open but that is to a different web server. Is that an issue? It was not before....
Advice?

Re: Web Server Ports Stopped?
Hello again,
Sorry but after double checking it seems that 444 tcp port is reserved by TSplus, so this specific port cannot be used for HTTPS. The port TCP 444, 81 and 19955 are reserved and cannot be used. These ports do however not need to be redirected as they serve a technical purpose, 81/444 are used in case of TSplus using a different web server such as IIS, and 19955 is used for loadbalancing.

Never an issue til now.
