Program button in the lower right of the screen.

Post by AadGouka » Sun Mar 06, 2016 11:17 am

Hi,

When I assign an application to a user, i.e. Wordpad, when my user logs in, only Wordpad is started
and no desktop. That's working ok.

In the lower right of the screen a button appears for Wordpad. When I push that button my Wordpad/TSplus is moved
to the taskbar. Is there a way to remove the button Wordpad ?

Best regards,

Oh no, don't remove the button! Because in that way, when your user minimizes Wordpad, Wordpad can never be brought back! So that's why this button in the lower right corner is for.

Hello Jeffrey,

Thanks for your reply. This button is very annoying, because it covers a part of the screen.
So information under the button is lost. In this way I have to reassign the information in every
screen. Most of my "close screen" buttons are placed on the same spot as the TSPlus-button, so
there has to be a way to move it or remove it.

Best regards,

Aad

Hi Aad,

I do understand your problem.
Perhaps there is some ini setting which the support team can help you with?

Best regards
Jeffrey

Hello,

If you want to have a better behavior for minimizing your remote applications, you should consider using the remote app connection client. This mode of connection is now supported if your TSplus server is installed on any Windows operating systems with version 9.10.

If you cannot or do not want to use the RemoteApp connection client, you can set up a different behavior for minimizing your applications. Open an admin tool, server tile, click on "Desktop Taskbar", make sure to uncheck the "Hide systray icons". If this is not enough you can also rename the file ltaskbar.exe into xltaskbar.exe located in : C:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus\UserDesktop

Thank you for your reply.

Renaming ltaskbar.exe did the job.
