TSPlus makes Dropbox stop working

Post by greenbytes » Sat Oct 24, 2015 10:07 am

We placed TSplus on the SBS 2008 server of a customer. On that same machine Dropbox is installed and running, used for a 3rd party application that needs permanent updating. The customer complains that, when TSplus is running on the machine, the Dropbox software suddenly stops running and has to be restarted manually, and so is blocking the 3rd party app. When we remove TSplus, Dropbox runs fine again.

I changed the default setting to keep the user session of the administrator permanently running, but that did not help. Does anyone have a clue what is going on here :?:

We are not in a position to use an alternative for Dropbox, so we 'd rather see a solution for this problem.

Hello,

TSplus services uses by default the TCP port 3389, and the 443/80 for web services. Dropbox is probably conflicting one of these port, so to prevent this you could simply change the communication port of the web services : tsplus.net/support/kb/faq.php?id=6
