Unhide Drives

Post by TSPlusSMD » Thu May 21, 2015 5:19 pm

Nice utility and I use it but it does cause problems. I had to let Intuit on the server remotely today to work on a data file problem but the drives were hidden. I had to disconnect him, un-hide the drives and reboot. Isn't there some way, as an administrator, that I can unhide and re-hide the drives without rebooting?

Hello,

Yes you can do so by not using our utility but Windows group policy. First of all follow this procedure to create a group policy that will apply only to non admin users : tsplus.net/support/kb/faq.php?id=19
Then use the 2nd part of this FAQ to locate the hide drive strategy : tsplus.net/support/kb/faq.php?id=29
