Hello,
I am having problem trying to get user profiles to stay on a file share and not under c:\users.
Does TSPlus recognize this group policy setting?
Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Remote Desktop Services / Remote Desktop Session Host / Profiles
Set path for remote desktop - enabled
Services Roaming User profile - profile path set to a \\TSPLUSTTest\TSUserProfiles$ network share
I made sure to keep file permissions set the same as c:/users
I tried both domain policy and local policy, but still whenever I do remote login, the user account remains in c:\users and nothing is created in the file share.
Am I missing something else to get this to work?
Testing on Windows 2012 R2 with latest version of TSPlus downloaded from last week.
Thanks in advance for any help.
User profiles
Re: User profiles
Hello,
This group policy is related to the use of terminal services and therefore is not supported by TSplus.
However you can use the folder redirection feature if you wish to decentralize some folder of your user profile.

Re: User profiles
Thank you for the clarification. I did get the folder redirection to work at least.
This would be a nice feature in a future version of TSPlus if at all possible.
