Applications timing out from Remote Application Portal

We are having an issue with the remote applications portal. No matter what browser we use, when a user logs in, and opens an application (QuickBooks 2016 in this case) after approximately 45 seconds the application will time out, and go back to the Application portal again. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks!

Hello,

This means your application may not be suitable to be published as a unique application. Possibly because it requires a full profile to be created. In order to do so, you need to open a session once with a full remote desktop..This issue can also occur because it got explorer.exe dependencies which is not an issue when a full remote desktop is launched.

I recommend you to first start with assigning the remote desktop or floating panel / remote taskbar. More information about this can be found here : terminalserviceplus.com/docs/remote-taskbar-and-floating-panel
