Desktop color on Windows 10 is not seamless

Post by Bob Campbell » Tue Jan 05, 2016 6:03 am

My Windows 10 users get a lime green backup. I'm using TSplus version 8.50.

You cannot use seamless with Win10 - you need to use RemoteApp. The seamless function has also been removed...

Hello,

Hansen is correct, and the Remote App connection client is now supported by all known operating systems. We are planning on reintroducing the seamless connection client when our development team make it compatible again.

Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse the problem using the word seamless.
I'm using RemoteApp, but I'm getting a green background now with Windows 10. (My Windows 8.1 computers aren't).
How can I make Windows 10 computers work like Windows 8.1 computers?
Thanks.

Hello,

Have you generated a new connection client ? If so, use this procedure to delete cache from previous client or edit your settings to make sure you got the "-remoteapp on" switch activated. In this scenario the "-seamless" switch should be on off status or deleted from the client settings.

I have generated a new connection client. You say "use this procedure", what procedure is that? Or how do I edit my settings to make sure I got the -remoteapp on switch activated.

Also, and maybe I should submit another problem. The mstsc.exe file in the RDP6 folder is dated 8/3/2004. Why is the very old file used? And why are all these other language ini files in this folder?

One last thing, when I generate a connection file, a message asks "Would you like to create an other connection client?" Actually "another" is one word. And the message title says "Portale Client Generator". Shouldn't it be "Portable Client Generator"?

Thanks.

Hello,

I forgot to paste the link of the procedure : http://www.terminalserviceplus.com/docs ... ted-client

The RDP folder can be deleted entirely, it will be re generated when you launch your new connection client.
Thank you for notifying us regarding the typo... It will be corrected in the next release.
