LogonSession Stopped Working

Hi

We are using TSPlus ver 8.1 on three Windows 2012 R2 Servers. These are brand new installations. Every so often when you login the server displays the "LogonSession" stopped working error message. If you disconnect and try again it usually works. Does any one know why this occurs and how to stop this from happening.

Hello,

The behavior of the logonsession.exe process may vary depending on which connection method you are using (connection client/HTML5/Java...) and what application you published (Full remote desktop or floating panel/remote taskbar or only one app assigned), and also sometimes security software such as antivirus/firewall software may block it so placing a scan exclusion rule on C:\wsession and C:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus can solve this issue.

It is also recommended that you update to 8.10.2.20 if you haven't already as we made a few bug fixes in that area too.

Hi,

This problem also occured here today on our TSplus system running with Windows 8.1 Pro (same kernel as 2012 R2).
Using the latest version of TSplus: 8.10.2.20.
It occured when connecting with the HTML5 client (browser).
(And we already had excluded the folders C:\wsession and C:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus.)

Hmm, this morning, again the error message "logonsession.exe has stopped working..." After that a black terminal session as result.
With Task Manager I had to kill webime.exe and after that the session logged off.
A bit annoying.

Running with TSplus version 8.10.2.28 on a VM with Windows 8.1 Pro (same kernel as 2012 R2).
It occured when connecting with the HTML5 client (browser).
