Can't get universal printing to work on 2 different servers and 2 different pc's

Cannot get universal printer to work. I'm running newest tsplus on 2 diff 2019 servers in 2 completely different environments. No AV involved on either end. Adobe Reader is installed on client sides.

In normal windows RDP program I'll see the "please wait" status bar when I go to the printer itself and hit print test page, but nothing happens after that.

Now on one of the tsplus servers I've setup a connection with remoteapp and allowed notepad on it. I can print to universal printer via that and it works 100% perfectly.

Any idea what could be wrong with universal printing when connecting via normal windows rdp program v10.0.19041?
