Hi
I'm confused. The client generator now no longer creates .exe file, but .connect.
On my W10 PRO installation there is no association with .connect.
How am I supposed to start a generated client on W10?
Or in more general: How do I start a remote app as opposed to a remote desktop?
Thank you for assistance.
PS: On some W7 clients, an assoc with .connect exists - on others it does not. So far I have not managed to fix that or even to understand whats going on.
Edit:
Well, I can start a session fine, using mstsc.exe. However, unable to use client-side open-file or universal printer, unless using a generated client. I have none on W10!
Client Generator 11.60.9.30 - connect
Re: Client Generator 11.60.9.30 - connect
Ho have to install Setup-ConnectionClient.exe on every client first. The .connect file stores only the configuration.
The Setup-ConnectionClient.exe is located in your TSPlus folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\TSPlus\Clients\WindowsClient.

Hello,
There is a setup to be installed on client side now as a pre requesite. We did so to remove permanently the threat of a generated connection client to be detected as a false positive by antivirus.
More information about this can be found here : https://www.terminalserviceplus.com/doc ... -generator
