Remote login issue

Post by matrix786 » Wed Sep 26, 2018 2:31 am

Using the latest TSplus just updated to the latest release
Very strange issue

From within the LAN I can rdp and works fine, however from the outside, the RDP connection keeps asking for the password, however if I use the web client from the WAN the WEB client works fine using the same user id/password.

any guidance is appreciated
Windows 7 Pro edition with TSPLUS 11.50.9.25 latest

Hello,

You may need to generate a new client and check the "allow save credential" box.

I have two TSPLUS systems in the troubled environment, one is the basic TSPLUS with remote desktop (win10), and the other one is windows 7 with TSPLUS WEB

I use rdp when I am outside my office as well as my team. even with the new windows RDP client, we get the same error or invalid credentials and keeps asking for password.

I tried from another remote site to connect using windows remote desktop, same issue. is there another port needed in the router to be open /forwarded besides 3389.

Resolved on windows 7 webedition by upgrading to 11.60.10.3
The RDP is working fine now from the wan side

on windows 10 it is still asking for the password on the wan side. ( i will check my router and post if i find any thing)

upgrade to 11.60.10.3 resolved the issue of asking for password again when using rdp

resolved both on windows 10 and windows 7 pro
windows 10 machine problem was a combination of router upnp ports and pending upgrades

Thanks dev team for the updates
