force a 4/3 aspect ratio on the HTML5 ?

Post by fakebrains » Mon Oct 23, 2017 10:04 pm

Having a problem with generating PDF's on Server 2016 using Microsoft report writer 2016. It seems to be an aspect ration issue and when printing there are issues with font replacement/font missing/character space compression. When I change the aspect ration on my browser to view everything at 4/3 then the problem goes away. I know its specifically report writer but i was wondering if there is a way to force a 4/3 aspect ratio on the HTML5 browser area, even if there is unusable space.

Hi,

did you try firstly to update to latest available version before reporting the issue?
AdminTool GUI > License (tab) > Check for update
After installing update REBOOT.
Then open locally on server in browser
http://127.0.0.1/w0j41
and go sure you got HTML5 version: v5.45 after update.

Most probably the issue will be gone after update since similar symptoms were already reported and fixed in last patch.
