Java VM memory low

Post by allmyclouds » Fri Aug 11, 2017 11:16 am

Some users get this message randomly at web login. It is a Windows Server 2012 R2.

"Java VM memory on server to low: 68 of 255 mb. Install Java 64 bit!"

Is this a message from TSPlus?

Should i install Java 64 bit?
regards

Hello,

call the link on server locally
http://localhost/w0j41
(use your own port if default not 80)
and finally follow the instruction you find there.

Hello,

I call link http://localhost:8090/w0j41 at de server, and give me the message: You run Java 32bit on Windows64 system - urgently install Java64 bit to fix your memory issues!

I install Windows Offline (64-bit) at the server with success.

Is it possible that this message is related to the number of users logged into the server?
For it did not occur today in the early morning, but now it occurs (in the stations that try to connect).

We have the licence TSPlus with updates. Do you recommend upgrading the TSPLus version? Is it an easy upgrade?

Tks.

I ask it one more time if previous request was not clearly enough.
1. call the link http://localhost:8090/w0j41 on server side
2. and paste result here!!!

Hi

Thats the result... I did all the options (1 - 2 - 3 - 4)

HTML5 version: v5.35 >>> Java: 1.8.0_141 (VM x86) on Windows Server 2012 R2

AllocatedMemory: 209mb
PresumableFreeMemory: 46mb
TotalMemory: 255mb

You run Java 32bit on Windows64 system - urgently install Java64 bit to fix your memory issues!

1. open link in browser https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
2. download Windows Offline (64-bit) - go sure it is 64bit offline installation!!!
3. install Java-64-bit
4. restart HTML5 server via GUI to make this change effective - go sure you have restarted html5 server!
(you can but you do not need to deinstall Java-32-bit since GUI will automatically prefer Java-64-bit instead its Java-32-bit version)

Hi,

provide please the content of **Tsplus_install_folder**\Clients\webserver\runwebserver.bat
And if you delete that file and then do step: "4. restart HTML5 server via GUI to make this change effective - go sure you have restarted html5 server!" then gets the file runwebserver.bat recreated? If recreated then does it contain Java path to Java's 64bit version?
And provide please full path to your Java64bit install folder and paste it here!

Hello,

It's working now. Thanks.

Another question I would like to see with you: TSPLUS has new versions, and we are not updating for fear that the current version will stop working.
Do you have any way to make a trial license available? And if there is the update, and do not give an error, have to go back?

Thanks.
