Windows Server 2012 - Too Many Users

Hi

Today when users went to connect to TSPlus they received a message that there were too many users and it asked which user they wanted to disconnect. There were only two users on the server at the time and I have installed 20 user TSPlus license so why am I getting this message. The server has worked fine for about 3-4 months. The server is a new Windows 2012 Server. I am running version 7.6 of TSPlus.

Hi

I ran the compatibility update after being told to do so by "John Davies" and that fixed the problem. I also discovered that the data centre where my servers are located did a Windows Update which they are not suppose to do unless I tell them. So I did not realize anything had changed on the server and thus did not try the Compatibility Update.

Should I run the Compatiblity Update any time updates are done on the Windows Server or are there some instructions about when this might be required?

The compatibility update patch is updated every time an compatibility issue occurs with Windows Update, so feel free to use it when you need it.
