Hi. I just upgraded my licence to 10 users but only 4 sessions are allowed by the server, when a 5th session or more is tried to connect a message "c:\wsession\logonsession.exe access denied" appears on my terminal computers, and the session is terminated
I'm running Windows 2008 2R 64bits on my server
My clients are running windows XP and windows 7
My clients are running seamless applications access and remoteAPP
No more de 4 sessions allowed
Re: No more de 4 sessions allowed
Hello,
I recommend you to uninstall / reinstall TSplus as it seems something went wrong during the update process.
Follow these steps :
1- Make sure no users are connected, then uninstall TSplus, reboot your computer.
3- make sure no TSplus folder remains in C:\Program Files (x86)\, if so delete it.
2- Download and install a fresh setup : dl-files.com/V6/Setup-TSplus.exe
3- Apply your license again, your server should be fine.
I recommended you also to deactivate your antivirus before installing TSPlus and set an exclusion rule on installation path is also recommended.
You will need to set an exclusion rule in your antivirus on the following path : C:\Program Files (86)\TSPlus and C:\wsession
If this is not enough, provide us the following information and we'll mail you a new license.
- Actual Serial Number located in the admintool
- Purchase order of your original license.
You should receive the activation program within the next 24 hours.
If you have not received your permanent license within a day, please verify your spam folder and send us a reminder mail with the above required information.

Re: No more de 4 sessions allowed
Hi.
I found the problem that is causing this in windows 2008 R2 64 Server
The info related is in
technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754762.aspx (not the same case)
The solution is open the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC), run gpedit.msc, inside the program go to
\Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Connections
And set the Limit Number of Connection from (Not configured) by default, to 999999,
this releases the limit of conections to Windows remote desktop, changing it to 99999 solve the issue
This issue appears just on 2008 R2 64 (my new server) because in my old server 2008 Standard 32 this issue wasn't appear.
You are so welcome

Re: No more de 4 sessions allowed
Hello,
This is interesting indeed !
Glad to know you figured it out, I'll do further testing to see if I reproduce this weird issue and if so forward it to dev team to make sure this does not happen again, so thank you for your feedback.

Re: No more de 4 sessions allowed
Hello,
Did you update to the latest release ?
Your server should be accessible using either port 80/443/3389 depending on your connection method. You can try to connect from the console of the server by launching a mstsc.exe with 127.0.0.2 in the address. If you can connect from the console but not from a remote location please check your router / firewalls to allow traffic.
If your system has connection issues and the above did not work, you will need to check the following :
- Process one reboot to verify if you the issue remains after restarting the system.
- Verify that your TSplus release is not a too old one.
For old release (5.xx and below) the TSplus technology cannot match with the latest version of Windows.
In such case, the solution is to update to the current release of TSplus.
- In case of incompatible Updates that has been installed on your system, the solution is to download and run the latest update on your server : http://dl-files.com/UpdateRelease.exe
- With the AdminTool, verify the status of your TSplus license.
It is important to know if your issue is related to a TSplus license or to a Windows system problem.
If your current TSplus license is invalid you will need to install the latest TSplus update and activate a new valid one.
Open a windows explorer and locate the license.lic file in the following path C:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus\UserDesktop\files and apply your license again.
- If the above does not correspond to your issue, open a services.msc and make sure the "Application publishing service (APS) is running. If the service is not running then it means another application is conflicting TSplus like skype or teamviewer. You may need to change TSplus port to another one that would be free to use. More information on port changing can be found here : http://support.tsplus.net/kb/faq.php?id=5
You can verify the status of network running services by executing a netstat -na command, any port with the status "Listening" means that the tcp port is currently used by a service.
