You will need to download and install this update for TSPlus or use the update feature from the admin tool / home tab : https://dl-files.com/data/UpdateRelease.exe

If you are using a version 11 or 12 of TSplus, a simple reboot should suffice if your server has access to internet.

Make sure no users are logged in before installing this update, you can check for remote users by launching a task manager and clicking on the users tab. Disabling your antivirus is also recommended.

Make a scan exclusion rule on C:\wsession and C:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus\UserDesktop\files and make sure your users have sufficient rights to read and execute all programs in these folders.

A reboot will be required.

You will find more detailed information about TSplus updating process here : https://www.terminalserviceplus.com/doc ... rvice-plus

What are the issues you have found with this Microsoft update?

I have a 2012 R2 server with Tsplus v11 were the update was installed but it works, at least apparently...

Hello,

With version 11 and above, you should not have any issue. If a connection problem occurs, a simple reboot should suffice.

This warning is for any of you who experienced some connection issues.
RDP connection error
Server access limited to only 1 or 2 users
or the classic message asking for the console session to log off so that the user can connect.

Is there any way we can be notified as soon as critical windows patches that break things like this are found? I had not seen this 1 posting and we walked in today to 600 users down at 1 customer. Now we have to go notify all our other customers to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to them. An automatic email notifying of this would be great. A lot of our users don't have internet access on their servers.

Thanks,

Hello,

@Indy : We are warned at the last moment for some update and cannot warn you sooner.
@Khiu : You need to renew your subscription in order to be able to update your TSplus server.

I understand that it's tough to get a huge headstart - but I"m just asking for a email noting when things like this occur. Just something we could signup for for problems and release notes when a new update happens. Otherwise I have to check the forum every single day. In this case the forum had an update 5 days earlier than I noticed and I only realize it after our customers went down and I went on the newsgroup.

Thanks,

Hello,

I understand your concern but unfortunately we have no way of monitoring what will be the future of Windows. It is very sad that Microsoft does not warrant the upward compatibility of its KB and that updates are mandatory.
