Target RDP Server not accessible!
I am getting an error on 1 of my servers when connecting through HTTPS:\\
Error: Target RDP server not accessible!
127.0.0.1:3389
Windows server 2012 r2
Installed version 11.50.9.10
I upgraded to 11.70.11.14 with same issues
It seems that i can get connected sometimes with RDP if it does not hickup.
I uninstalled TSPLus and rebooted, I was able to connect RDP fine with several sessions.
I installed newest version again and problem with RDP / SSL HTML5 connections started having issues again.
Currently rolling back security updates KB4467697
Will be also doing KB4467694

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!
Hello,
The Dev Team is currently investigating the 'an internal error has occurred' error originating from the Windows Update KB4457139.
If you can't find the option, you can edit the service using Group Policies.
To configure the policies on your terminal server please follow these steps:
- open gpedit.msc applet,
- navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Security.
- then enable 'Require use of specific security layer for remote (RDP) connections' and select 'RDP' as Security Layer.
- then disable 'Require user authentication for remote connections by using Network Level Authentication policy'.
- finally, reboot the terminal server or use this command : gpupdate /force
If it doesn't fix your issue:
- update Windows to its most up-to-date version with all latest KB updates installed,
- update TSplus to its most up-to-date version,
- run 'MSTSC.exe', open the options, then go to the Experience tab and UN-select 'Reconnect if the connection is dropped'.

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!
It seems the server will only allow 1 logon at a time.
Thanks for the response. I will give that a try.

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!
FYI, we are getting the exact same thing so I tried the GPO changes.... However now when I try to get into my Azure Cloud server where I was having this problem I can no longer get into the machine. Any ideas?

Ah.... nevermind. It appears the server decided to do an update at that time... I can seem to get in now. I haven't gotten the error yet so far so good.

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!
This fix did resolve the issue. On a secondary note, I only updated 1 server to the newest version of TSPlus, is there any way of suppressing the IME editor does not match error ?
I will be patching all the servers to the latest but for the short term is there a way of suppressing this error message ?

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!
Will there be a patch for this, beyond the fix that was listed up top? I'm having a ton of customers get this today.

Hello indyrhett,
could you please create new ticket in
https://support.tsplus.net/
and provide connection details from
https://dl-files.com/support.exe
so i can connect to you and check what is really wrong there.
Actually unable to reproduce it by me locally, so wondering why that?!
Sincerely yours, JW.

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!
Will do. We rolled back the fix on one of our test servers where we could duplicate. I'll send connection info.
Thanks,

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!
I found the fix to be patching all servers to the latest version of TSPlus. Its the versioning that freaks everything out.
