universal printer to local barcode printer (remoteapp)

Hello,

we are using LB with 5 terminalservers, all users are connected via remoteapp over the webinterface.

Actually one of our customers need a solution to print a barcode with the universal printer.
So, first he sends the print job to the universal printer, after that he chooses his local barcode printer, but the print result is just empty.

In order to debug the problem we sent the print job to a pdf printer. There we could see, that the universal printer seems to transform the format to dina-4, which isn the correct format for the barcode. the barcode is 17x54mm. The printer is a brother ql-500.

We also could see that there is a dina 4 pdf document with the barcode in the local rdp6 of the client.
The barcode is at the top left in the document which seems to cause the problem when printing it with the barcode printer which isn dina-4.

How can we satisfy the customer?

Now regarding printing with barcode printer, you could also study the possibility of redirecting this device inside the session. Check with barcode vendor if you have any procedure for installing this device in a RDS environment, which is very similar to TSplus in this case.
