RDS-Knight Country Restriction not working

Tested latest RDS-Knight, Brute-Force-Protect works very good.
But Country-Restricton does nothing, doesnt matter which settings are enabled etc..
Win2016, Firewall enabled.
If i allow only one Country (eg. Austria), i have a lot of Brute-Force-Attacks from Russland....
So, RDS-Knigt is useless for this?
regards

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Would you be able to collect RDS-Knight logs so we can have a look at your issue?
Please edit the file "
RDS-Knight-Service.exe.config" located in RDS-Knight setup directory (typically "
C:\Program Files (x86)\RDS-Tools\RDS-Knight") as an administrator, and replace the lines:
by:
Then, save and restart the RDS-Knight service to apply the changes.
Perform a connection which should be denied by Homeland Access Protection and send us the logs located in the following directory: "
C:\Program Files (x86)\RDS-Tools\RDS-Knight\logs". Also, could you indicate the country the connexion is from?
Alternatively, we can also investigate directly on your server if your are willing to grant us an admin access.
Best regards,
Thomas Montalcino

Hello,
I would like to add that Homeland Access Protection feature is designed to block any attempt at connecting using Remote Desktop Services from an unauthorized country. Therefore, any TCP connection which do not result in opening a user session are ignored by this feature.
Best regards,

Hi Thomas,
to my surprise, after restarting the RDS-Knight-Service (to enabling Debug-Log), all works as expected, all good now.
If you still need the Debug-Logs, send me a PM.
Many thanks for your Support!
