We are actually using latest TsPlus 11.30.5.18 served by a Windows 10 Machine (Pro version 1803 build 17134.81), clients are mixed RDC and Web.
We are, in the latest days, experiencing some users claiming that their session becomes blue/black, so as admin we have to open TsPlus session manager, then manually select their session than click on Logout to close their session.
After this operation user return working normally.
It was many months I had no users clamings about TsPlus, in the latest days several ones.
What do you think is due this problem ?
Some Windows Update caused that or something related to TsPlus ?
I attach as screnshot current GPO setting, do you suggest some different setting ?
In the meantime I show you that the setting pointed by the red arrow "All disconnected sessions will be automatically terminated" is never saved, I tried to set it (as possible solution to the above cases), restart the server, but it is never set.
Is it working ? When to use it ?
Thanks for any help.
Thanks !
TsPlus sessions getting blue/not terminated
Re: TsPlus sessions getting blue/not terminated
Hello,
This recent issue seems to be related to the remotefx feature with the recent build 1803 for Windows 2016 and Windows 10. by disabling it by group policy it is possible to fix this.
Open a gpedit.msc and locate the following :
Computer Configuration/Policies/Admin Templates/Windows Components/Remote Desktop Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Remote Session Environment: Use advanced RemoteFX graphics for RemoteApp to Disabled
A reboot or the use of the gpupdate /force will be necessary for the changes to take effect.
If this is not enough, you will need to uninstall the 1803 build Windows update with this procedure : https://pureinfotech.com/uninstall-wind ... 18-update/
