Hi Guys
I've got two VMs running on a VMware ESXi 6.5 Server, one Windows 10 and Windows 2016. I am connecting with a Wyse C10 LE Thinclient via RDP. Both are on the same AD Domain with the same policies applied. On the Windows 10 client USB redirection is working perfectly. On the Windows 2016 the USB is not even showing up in Device Manager.
Has this got to do with RemoteFX? Does Windows 10 have RemoteFX and Windows Server 2016 only if you install it? I cant test this because I dont have Hyper-V.
Thanks for any pointers.
Windows 2016 USB Redirection on RDP not working
Re: Windows 2016 USB Redirection on RDP not working
Hello,
RemoteFX is about redirecting directX application and is not supported by TSplus. Drive redirection may not be supported by your thin client if the RDP protocol used is 6 or above.

Re: Windows 2016 USB Redirection on RDP not working
Hi Oliver
Windows 10 it works on the same Client perfectly, Windows 2016 Standard, does not work. So its basicly the same OS, the same ThinClient, same TSPlus Version. I dont know why it shoudnt behave the same.
Both Servers are on an ESXi Host.
