URGENT: Upgraded Universal Print Jobs from different stations going to one station.

Post by spmnemrc » Mon Jul 10, 2017 12:33 pm

We upgraded the latest TSPlus last night. The Universal Print jobs for one user (logs on multiple times on different stations with the same name) has all print jobs going to one work station. This is urgent. Any Ideas?

We are using the old client generated clients. (Site said that would be OK)
We reinstalled the U printer (no help)
We are reinstalling the latest version now.

Reinstall of latest version did not work.
We just rolled back to version 9 and it is all working correctly again.

We are going to retest this on Thursday. We will let you know the results, if you can offer any insight that would be great.

Hello,

Once you upgraded your Universal Printer driver to V3, which can be verified in the licensing tile of the admin tool, you may need to generate a new connection client of the latest version and clear the cache from older client with this procedure : http://www.terminalserviceplus.com/docs ... ted-client

Once you updated TSplus to the latest release, if the Universal Printer was not updated successfully, you can reinstall it by opening an admin tool, click on the server tile and click on "Session Opening preference".

Oliver

We were using the older clients, we were under the impression this would be OK, can you confirm?

If we have to use different clients that can be a big problem.

Hello,

We had this kind of problem long time ago and it has been fixed.

This should never happen today because the prints are store in a folder path where the session ID is used to be 100% sure that each connected user are receiving its own prints.

However, apparently, you have a problem.
Why? It is not possible for us to accurately answer this question without connection to your server.
We need to understand exactly what is installed on your server and probably to do some tests.
Then, after such audit, we will know what is specific to your system and that must be changed.

Can you mail me the IP/port number of your server?
I also need to receive an admin logon/password.

My direct email is: john.davies@terminalserviceplus.com

Kind regards

John

We will be testing this condition at about 3pm Eastern US time Thursday 7/13/17, the server will not have an address until then. Should we communicate thru this forum?
