Redirect microphone on TSPlus in a virtual machine

Hi,

I'v been testing TSPlus with a cloud server using VMware to virtualize a windows server 2012 r2 machine. We want to use a USB microphone to interact with a medical application that we share with TSPlus, but we can't get redirection work in any way. We tried to change windows register, allow remote desktop services, redirect audio on RDP client, but nothing works.

We also tried to run TSPlus on a real server machine with the same aplication and without making any other change microphone worked well.

Does anyone make it work with a virtual machine? Any solution?

Thanks

Hello,

Make sure you add the audio device on your virtual machine. On client side, only microphones plugged in with jack port will be supported.

This is a very important information. I tried several usb headset, but none of them was working. A test with my iPhone headset worked fine.

Good to know.

Audio is enabled on VM. I can hear and see audio device redirected but no recording device showing in audio menu devices. I tried with a Philips SpeechMike USB microphone and with a normal jack headset and still not redirected. I'm using a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM on VMware 5.5

I also tried changing regedit rdp-tcp and other stuff in remote desktop services, and nothing changed.

We want to buy an unlimited license to sell our app woldwide via TSPlus, but recording is kind of important feature.

Can you give it a try and let us know if it is working?

Thanks
