Terminal Service Plus

Hi @ all!

I´m running TSPLUS with Licence now and started over to another server. For testing on my machine everything works.
On the Machine i want to go now, i doesnt work. For testing i trun to run notepad in HTML5 mode over the Web interface.
My target is to deploy only apps in seamless window.

But when i log on, with the user i created i only see a full desktop. The app (notepad) doesnt start. In my Testscenario (1,5 years ago) I didnt saw the desktop. Only the app startet. Test Scenario was a Win 2k8 Machine. Now i run a Windows 10 home machine.

I have read nothing that it is not possible to run at Windows 10 home? Maybe this is the problem?

Note: I have also RDP Wrapper installed before on the on the windows 10 home machine (testing purpose).

Any ideas? Or do I need Win 10 ultimate at last?

I am trying a reinstall know with clean reboot. I use notepad for testing instead my specific software until it works.

Reinstall didn´t solve my problem. I only get the full desktop instead only notepad. I use html5 Client with a user asigned to notepad. I tried on my Workstation Win 10 Pro where it works. Same settings

Make sure you did not check the "All users have full desktop" box located in the session opening preference tile of the server tile of the admin tool.

The remote desktop application must not be assigned to any users or groups. Open an admin tool, click on the application tile and click on application publishing, make sure that the "Assign to all users" box is not checked when selecting the remote desktop application.

I found the solution. I put the TS Plus Folder to not be scaned by Anti Virus (Avira Free) Engine. Then I saved the values Oliver said manually from checked to unchecked. Now it works like a charm.

Glad you figured it out. Antivirus can sometime consider TSplus processes a threat because it provides remote access to its users. Some antivirus when set to paranoid can even prevent file transfer and printing on network printers (Norton...). This is why it is a common good practice to set exclusion rules on the most used folders of your server.

I rechecked all I have done to figure it out. Please forget previous answer:

It was not the Anti Virus Engine (or not only?!). It was the remote support checkbox in the System settings of windows 10 (this computer->properties->remote support tab).

Solution -> If the box is checked, I´m getting the whole Desktop. If the box is unchecked I get only the app I configured is TSplus.

Furthermore only HTML5 Mode ist working in Browser. Seamless app doesn´t work. Any ideas whats going on?

Solved by changeing ports back to 80 and 443. Now I have another problem. I will open a new thread for it.

Could you explain your solution a little bit more? I have the same problem with my TSPlus server, the user i configured gets the whole windows desktop, not the in admin tool configured programms
