User name or password incorrect and white screen

I’ve setup a TSPLus server (9.10.2.33) on a Win 7 Pro 64 PC, 3 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM, standalone not part of a domain.
For a week or so all appeared to be well. Now when I attempt to connect, I either get a white screen on seamless client or if using Remote desktop client get an error message ‘The user name or password is incorrect’
I know the user name and password combination are correct because I can logon locally.
I have created a new windows user then generated a client, with the same symptoms.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling TSPlus – same issue.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the fix?
