So there is the new feature of virtual printers in 8.40. But how can i configure this? I see 2 new printers (virtual printer (redirected 3) and virtual printer (redirected 3 - preview). But if i choose one of these printers, nothing happens.

I'm on a Mac with one installed network printer.

Hello,

This new printing feature is available with version 8.40 for HTML5 : terminalserviceplus.com/docs/virtual-printer
You may need to clear your client browser cache (ctrl + F5) since you updated recently.

Hello,

i have updated to 8.40, i see the both new virtual printers but when i choose one of them, nothing happens. No selection of local printer and no printing.

Is this available on a mac as the local device, too?

I have a network-printer here, that is available on my mac.

Hello,

Could you try using a different browser ? My guess is that your PDF reader cannot process PDF print request on Safari browser. The Universal Printer will still behave like before and can also be used.

Hello,

the best you can do, send to us the guest logon and we will check what is wrong.
Possibly your server is 32bit version server and/or remote printing is disabled by you.

PS: checked with Safari, Chrome and FF on Mac, virtual printing works fine on Mac, only Safari does not support auto printer menu popup, but Chrome and FF do that fine on Mac. By Safari only usage with virtual printer with preview makes sense.
