I have uninstalled TSplus, from WS 2012 R2, but it has not left things as they were before installation.
I am still able to sign in remotely as a mere user (not just as an administrator). I expected remote desktop services to revert to remote administration only.
Also, I still have Universal Printer stuff in my start menu.
Also, both while the product was installed and since uninstalling it, the windows experience is not correct (e.g. move window to either side of screen to make it occupy exactly half of the screen).
Not good.
Please advise re. how to completely uninstall this product, and revert to pre-install behaviour.
Incomplete uninstall
Re: Incomplete uninstall
Hi,
Follow these steps :
download this uninstaller first : dl-files.com/Uninst.exe and reboot.
If this does not work then follow this procedure :
1- Open a control panel and manually uninstall the Universal printer.
2- Make sure no users are connected, then uninstall TSplus, reboot your computer.
If these steps did not work then download and install a fresh setup before restarting above procedure : dl-files.com/Setup-TSplus.exe
I recommended you also to deactivate your antivirus before installing/uninstalling TSPlus

Re: Incomplete uninstall
I did as you say above; none of it worked:
I ran the uninstall, then rebooted, this did not make any difference.
I re-installed TSplus, rebooted, ran the uninstall, rebooted, this also did not make any difference
BTW, the Universal printer icons in the start menu had no corresponding programs to uninstall - they were just left behind 'unconnected'.
I do not have AV installed on the server.

Re: Incomplete uninstall
Hello,
This issue is not common and probably related to a corrupted user profile or operating system, you may need to use a third party software such as ccleaner or revo uninstaller to do a clean uninstall.

Re: Incomplete uninstall
Well, I'm sure that user profiles and operating system were uncorrupted before I installed your software.
Also, since running the installer you linked, re-installling, and uninstalling again, I now have items missing from the administrator's start menu, under Windows System - e.g. no Control Panel. What's more, if I search for these they are either not found or, if found, won't run - I receive the "Windows can't open this type of file (settingcontent-ms)" message. These items are still present for other user accounts, though.
The programs were uninstalled; There was nothing left in programs & features to uninstall. It seems unlikely that a 3rd party installer would make any difference; it appears as though TSplus has left behind some registry/gp settings, and generally screwed things up.

Re: Incomplete uninstall
Hello,
The problem is quite simple.
The uninstall is complete only after reboot.
Prior reboot we clean most of our installation data.
During the reboot after the uninstall we terminate the work (including the Universal Printer entries in the Start menu).
However, we will ask the dev team to have a look to the uninstall program to verify that everything is handled after the reboot as expected.
Kind regards
John Davies
