Activation "runonclient"

Hi,
I want to use the runonclient feature in order to automagically execute a task at the workstation
The "Local PC TSplus Server communicating Advanced Capabilities Developer Guide" says:
"This feature will only be available to Windows PCs using the Windows generated client"
and "The developer task is to copy the appropriate command line string into the clipboard .."
Also: "This command will work even using a dumb RDP client as long the clipboard is supported. "
When I send the command to the clipboard, I will find the command at the client's clipboard, but it is not executed.
Obviously there is some function missing, that interpretes the clipboard and executes ...
Any help will be appreciated
Paul

Hello,

The open on client feature is not supported by standard RDP client (mstsc.exe). More information about this feature can be found here : terminalserviceplus.com/docs/open-files-on-client-side

Hello,
this does not answer my question in any way.
I did generate the client and wanted to use the "runonclient" feature via clipboard.
How can I do that?
What is then the document "Local PC TSplus Server communicating Advanced Capabilities Developer Guide"?
It can be found at
terminalserviceplus.de/files/localremoteinteraction.pdf
when you search for "tsplus execute command on client"

Hello,

The link you provided does not work and is probably referring to an old feature of TSplus that does not exist anymore. The run on client feature is the one I mentioned above. What are you trying to achieve ? maybe we can help.

Hello,

We did develop, many years ago, and on demand of one specific customer a set of command lines.

This customer has never use it (so we did waste our time but this happen sometime).

We have not maintain, or improve, or do anything about this kind of feature (like run on client), and we have no plan to work again on this
specific feature.

Kind regards

John Davies
