Webacces not working and printer question

Post by itminded » Sun Aug 17, 2014 11:32 pm

Hi there,

Just installed the trail version on Windows 2012R2 with AD. Remote desktop is working fine, but web acces is not working:

-HTML5 client logs you off after some seconds logged in (some blue screen).
-Java client stops at "Internet acces. Connecting to the server.."
-Windows client stops at "Error while downloading file: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/software/java/rdesktop.tar"

Another question: is it possible to print on a local printer whle connected with rdesktop client? Local printers are not showing up now while selected in client (local devices/printers)

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Open an admin tool, and click on "Web Management Tool". make sure all features are set to green. if not, click on "Restart Web Server". If the server won't start, make sure you have not installed another web server or application that would be using the TCP port 80 and/or 443. One easy test to do is to change the port of your webserver and restart the server again. A faq regarding this subject is available here : tsplus.net/support/kb/faq.php?id=6

Open a browser on the server, type in the address localhost and open a connection using the "inside browser" mode. You should be able to open a session with a local or domain account.

If it still wont connect, uninstall java and delete the java folder located in C:\Program Files x86\ then reinstall java 32 bits on the server and make sure antivirus or firewall software are not blocking http.exe, HTML5service.exe and SSHtunnel.exe processes.

Regarding the rdesktop client, I do not think it will do a great job at redirecting your printers, however if your client is installed with Linux you can print using the Universal Printer in HTML5 or Java mode (Windows client will not be supported).

Hi,

All the web features are up and running. Before installing TSplus I remove IIS, no other webservices are running. Also running from inside browser localhost same troubles as external. Removed java as described and reinstalled 32 bit version, but same results..

Greetings

Hello,

make sure no antivirus and / or firewall software are blocking TSplus from functioning normally.

If you believe your version of TSplus is corrupted for some reasons, you might want to try to uninstall / reinstall TSplus using this procedure.

Follow these steps :

1- Make sure no users are connected, then uninstall TSplus, reboot your computer.
3- make sure no TSplus folder remains in C:\Program Files (x86)\ and no C:\wsession, if so delete it.
2- Download and install a fresh setup : dl-files.com/V6/Setup-TSplus.exe and reboot again.
