HTTP servers not running

Post by MichaelH » Fri Jan 31, 2014 1:29 pm

Hi

We rebooted our server due to some problems, after it rebooted The SSH Tunneling is disabled and the HTTPS server is not listening on port 443. Can anyone tell me what Windows services should be running to restart the Web servers?

Thanks

Al

Hello,

Open an admin tool, and click on "Web Management Tool". make sure all features are set to green. if not, click on "Restart Web Server".

Open a browser on the server, type in the address localhost and open a connection using the "inside browser" mode. You should be able to open a session with a local or domain account.

If it still wont connect, uninstall java and delete the java folder located in C:\Program Files x86\ then reinstall java 32 bits on the server and make sure antivirus or firewall software are not blocking http.exe, HTML5service.exe and SSHtunnel.exe processes.

Hi

localhost gives "this page cannot be displayed. Ive restarted the Web servers "The built in HTTP server on port is listening" but HTTPS on port 443 and SSH tunneling both have a red cross and will not start. If we go to online5.instantnurserymanager.co.uk we get the IIS7 page is displayed.

Thanks

Hello,

I believe these issues have been fixed recently in yesterday update.

Please download and install this update for TSPlus : tsplus.net/UpdateRelease.exe
Make sure no users are logged in before installing this update, you can check for remote users by launching a task manager and clicking on the users tab. Disabling your anti virus is also recommended.
