Remote app not working

Further to other posts here, I have used TSplus for many months and love it.
Today I wanted to test the update, which I thought was 6.80 but turns out to be 7.10.1.13
I have installed in a Win7 laptop, and testing it from my Win7 desktop
I have also installed the update patch, but version remains the same
I have generated the Client Generator and it connects beautifully to the laptop and display the Log Off and KC9 (My application)
When you log-in to KC9, it asks for Username and Password, and has an OK command button
This is where everything comes unstuck. Its like my keyboard is not working, except the icons on my desktop flicker in response to my keyboard pressing.
Example, there's a picture file on my desktop and this file is 121245.jpg
When I try to enter the user log on number (1556), as soon as I press the 1 key, the desktop icon flicker, but the Remote App does not respond in any way and the log-in box remains blank.
However, if I mouse click on the OK button, it exits the app (If user login is blank, it exits my app)
