Hi team TSplus,
This is great news!
As I said earlier, your support is the best!!
Perhaps the other users in this thread can test the Blinking Patch and report back their results.
Best regards
Jeffrey

Good news indeed.
Can confirm that testing on W2012R2, Tsplus 6.80.12.15 & the Flickerscreen patch. No flickering was detected. The display is rock solid.
Very very nice.
Thanks guys, this is really good.
I'll upload to our 'problem' site tonight & report back when I have some real user feedback.
Craig

Hi TSPlus Team,
After having this issue 1 year ago (and it being solved) I am now facing the issue all over again with the new 8.10 release. (Nothing has changes since my first post that started this thread)
I will also open a support ticket, but can anyone advise please?

Hello,
I will forward this to our dev team, to know if they made any changes in this regard. Meanwhile the patch sent you last year should work to solve this issue.
On Windows 8 and Windows 2012, Microsoft is installing a default standard graphic driver that is not enough compatible with some applications and the new Metro interface. As result some applications are flickering.
In order to avoid this annoyance, we have developed a patch that you can download using the following link:
http://dl-files.com/BlinkingPatch.exe
Just run it as administrator and reboot.
After the reboot, the users will not have any more blinking/flickering annoyances.
Regards,
TSplus support team

Issue fixed. I did several things however, so I'm not sure exactly which one fixed it, but here's what I did in case others are having the same issue.
1. Set the Session Opening Preference to "Use TSPlus shell..." instead of "Use native Windows shell..."
2. Install all Windows updates
3. Update TSPlus from 8.10.1.18 to 8.10.1.26
4. Run above BlinkingPatch.exe as Administrator
5. Restart.
After these steps, no more flickering/blinking.

Hello,
This issue should not occur anymore as it has been fixed with 8.40 and above version.
You may want to disable the "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager" service in services.msc on your TSplus server to prevent this behavior from happening or install latest update.

hello,
the serveur is windows 8.1 PRO so "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager" service doesn't exist !
UxSms service only exist in windows vista/7.
and tsplus is 9.10.1.31 is the lastest update.
using "-remoteapp on " some windows opening behind the others instead opening in front.
using "-seamless on" it's ok but the transparency does't work.
so I can't use remoteapp for the moment.
with windows 8/10 clients remoteapp is OK
with windows XP/7 there is the problem
