Windows Taskbar showing up with floating panel active.

Post by JeffreyH708 » Wed Sep 12, 2018 2:10 pm

The windows taskbar started to display on my sessions that use the floating panel.

I have checked Session Opening Preference, Application Publising and Assign Applications.

Everything is set just like it was before.

What will cause the Windows Taskbar to start appearing instead of what is normally displayed.

I dont know how to describe this well. The floating panel would replace the taskbar with its own style icons.

But now I get the Windows 10 style taskbar.

I touched the following settings. "Remove Logo". And I disabled and Enabled Open URL'c on Client Side.

I am at a complete loss as to why this simply changed.

Hello,

I am sorry but I do not understand your issue here or how to reproduce it.

Here is a picture from a RDP session. Why does the stuff at the top now appear there when it used to appear at the bottom where the taskbar is. The taskbar did not appear prior to this morning.

I installed the latest update. I still have the same problem.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hello,

I think this is related to your language bar settings. Open your remote session with a full remote desktop, and edit your language bar option so it is not displayed at logon.

You should also be able to disable it permanently for all users by group policy : User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Control Panel/Regional and Language Options
