Background on server keeps changing to black

Post by TSPlusSMD » Fri Aug 31, 2018 7:01 pm

When I log on locally to the TSPlus Server (a Windows 10 Computer) as the local administrator I set the background to solid blue. It will not stay. When I reboot and log back in as the local administrator it stays solid blue for about 5 seconds and goes back to being black. How do I get it to stay solid blue?

Hello,

Open an admin tool, click on the server tile / session opening preference and choose the background color for your user sessions.

That just made a bad problem even worse. When I went in to look at it the color was already set to a shade of blue which right of the bat tell me something is wrong because, once again, it is black. So I changed it to a different shade to blue and now can't log in. When I log in I get the same background as the login screen and it never changes. I don't get a desktop or any desktop icons. It doesn't log in. All I can do is ctrl-alt-del again and when I log in it says "logging out".

In playing with it I now see what it is doing. It is logging in and then turning right around and logging out. I can't do anything but get in via safe mode. So how do recover from this?

Hello,

Could you open a support ticket or send a mail to olivier.benoit@terminalserviceplus.com with a way to connect to your server so that I can fix this. You are probably using an old release of TSplus.

Hello,

Not sure what happened there. If there is no bad language / link to scam website then you are ok to re post your answer here. Have you opened a support ticket with a way to reproduce or connect to your server so that we can investigate further as suggested previously ?

Not thrilled with support. First issue was the License button disappearing so I couldn't activate support. Then the server got trashed by changing the session background. Finally had to request a code for an emergency update from 11.40 to 11.50. It fixed the session problem but still no License button so I can't activate support. One calamity after another.

Then I need a emergency code to install it as I can't activate my support subscription with no license button.....
