Greetings,
I am having an issue while gathering a free SSL certificate. I have an A-Record called app.mydomain.com, that points to my external IP on my firewall. Port 80 and 443 are forwarded to the server behind the firewall, all fine. I can access the login page from outside, all nice, neat and fast. But I just cannot get a LE certificate, I always receive error 805. I have checked live logs on my firewall, nothing is blocked. the A-Record can be translated on the server in both ways, but whatever I try, nothing get´s me past the 805 error.
The server is a Windows Server 2016 Standard German, latest patches, no additional software, no antivirius, nothing.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Regards
Johannes

Dear JW,
thanks for pointing me to that link. Unfortunatelly all prerequisites have already been met, so I do not know where else to search for.
Any further suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Problems with Let´s Encrypt
Thanks JW. I registered for an account with the same email adress I´ve used here, but did not get any confirmation email as stated. Same for a password recovery email (I just gave it a try). It is now 30min ago.
Can you check that on your end please?
Thanks
Johannes
