We are using a bunch of Windows 2012 R2 servers with Flexicloud 10.40.8.5 behind your reverse proxy server.
Being unable to hear any sound from these remote servers, we have installed the Remote Desktop Session Host role and now we are hearing the sounds.
The question is: to listen to the sounds should we always install the RDS Session Host role or is there a way to do without?
Best.
Carlo
No audio from remote servers
Re: No audio from remote servers
Hi Carlo.
Not sure this is your case, but on every Windows Server I installed TSplus, I had to go to Services and Start "Windows Audio" service, since it was stopped, and change its Properties to Start Up Automatically.
Hope it helps.

Re: No audio from remote servers
No luck,
both Audiosrv and AudioEndpointBuilder services was already running before RDS Host installation, but there were no audible sounds.
The culprit must stay somewhere else.
:/
Thanks
