10.50 (Oct. 11) not assigning Applications to Groups

Post by decoratopic » Mon Oct 16, 2017 8:55 pm

Hello,

I'm running the latest 10.50 (Oct. 11) and the applications are not being assigned if specified in an AD group.
if I assign them at user level it works flawlessly.

As per the following post:

https://tsplus.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4183#p7794

the problem should already be fixed.
But no, it still fails.

Regards.

By the way, I forgot to say that I'm using:
- Windows 2012 R2 Server TSplus
- RemoteApp (Windows 8.1+), Seamless (Windows 7) and HTML5 Clients.

Hello,

The problem is fixed but not yet included in the current Update Release.

We will probably include this fix within the next Update.

Kind regards

John

hi there,

i'm having the exact same issue. we are trying to evaluate the product before deciding if this is something that we want to use. however, the applications are not showing when assigning them to an AD Security Group. Today i have upgraded TSPlus to 10.50.10.26 and it's still an issue for us before and after the upgrade.

This is the message we keep getting...
Available Applications

No application is currently assigned to you, or the logon typed is invalid.

Please contact your Administrator.
Only way we can get the application to be available is to have a tick in 'Assign this application to All Users' within Management of Published Applications - this is not an option for us.

Waiting on a response from Support from the ticket i submitted...

I've updated to 10.50.10.29 and this is still an issue when assigning applications to security groups or individual users...

This is not exactly the same issue actually.

Individual per user assigning has always worked fine for me.
Only by group configuration was failing but, again for me, it was solved in 10.50.10.26.
