We have moved from remote desktop on an old XP machine to TSPlus - all works well except that we connect to our server via an internet connection - as we did with RDP. The problem is that often the remote session hangs and we have to disconnect and reconnect - I guess due to the internet connection ? Are there any settings I can change to avoid this? seems as soon as the connection gets some high latency for a short period or whatever it hangs. Any setting changes or other options anyone can suggest - staff get very frustrated with the hangs.
thanks

Freeze and disconnect issues
Re: Freeze and disconnect issues
Hi Alan,
Where were your old RDP server hosted? If you're hosting the new TSplus at the same location, it shouldn't make much of a difference.
If users are on very limited connections, then it might be an idea to setup network QoS on their router, so RDP traffic gets priority over everything else.
