tsplus win10 keyboard bug with second RDP user

Post by babarfr » Wed May 10, 2017 7:04 am

There is a long time i'm waiting for the big keyboard bug with RDP on windows 10 pro
Can i have one solution after more than one years
after few times the second or other RDP user lost the keyboard that now run on the physical machine via RDP
When the keyboard from the RDP user disappears, its bypass the physical user on the computeur, impossible to work for two people
No way, its need to logout from the two user and logon again
I have 3 different machines (9 user) with this bug and only with windows 10 pro (server 2008, 2012 ok), with Macos or linux or windows rdp client

Hello,

This issue has been identified to being a Microsoft Windows licensing issue. Make sure your Windows 10 is genuine, failing to do so will result in the keyboard not functioning as it should.

If you installed an old version of TSplus (previous to version 9) you will need also to update to the latest release.

All the computers have the latest windows update
All the computers have the latest available TSPLUS

I' am waiting for a patch because for now: TSPLUS is not compatible windows 10 pro
Its not possible to buy TSE Alternative that not make the job (terminal service)

Hello,

Windows 10 has always been supported and is widely used. However you need to make sure it is windows 10 Pro or above that you are using because Windows 10 Home is not supported anymore since the creator's update.

This issue may come from not using the latest release or if another application is conflicting TSplus on the TCP port 3389/443/80.

Ok I have 3 computers with Windows 10 pro genuine (no Windows 10 home)
No other application on port 3389, 443 or 80
No one computer work with Tsplus, keyboard bug after few times (sometimes after 5', sometimes after 3hours on Windows, Macos or linux client)
I have 9 tsplus licence that not work
For me tsplus is not compatible Windows 10 pro, just test with 2 RDP user and one user on the tsplus computer
its work well on Windows 7,8,8.1 and server 2008 and 2012 no keyboard bug
you have said there is one year it's because Windows 10 is not supported
what else now ?????????

Hello,

Your operating system is either corrupted or an application is conflicting TSplus services. This is not easy to diagnose.

Your server should be accessible using either port 80/443/3389 depending on your connection method. You can try to connect from the console of the server by launching a mstsc.exe with 127.0.0.2 in the address. If you can connect from the console but not from a remote location please check your router / firewalls to allow traffic.

If your system has connection issues and the above did not work, you will need to check the following :

- Process one reboot to verify if you the issue remains after restarting the system.

- Verify that your TSplus release is not a too old one.
For old release (5.xx and below) the TSplus technology cannot match with the latest version of Windows.

In such case, the solution is to update to the current release of TSplus.

- In case of incompatible Updates that has been installed on your system, the solution is to download and run the latest update on your server : http://dl-files.com/UpdateRelease.exe

- With the AdminTool, verify the status of your TSplus license.
It is important to know if your issue is related to a TSplus license or to a Windows system problem.

If your current TSplus license is invalid you will need to install the latest TSplus update and activate a new valid one.

Open a windows explorer and locate the license.lic file in the following path C:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus\UserDesktop\files and apply your license again.

- If the above does not correspond to your issue, open a services.msc and make sure the "Application publishing service (APS) is running as well as the Remote Desktop Service. If the service is not running then it means another application is conflicting TSplus like skype or teamviewer. You may need to change TSplus port to another one that would be free to use. More information on port changing can be found here : http://support.tsplus.net/kb/faq.php?id=5

- You can verify the status of network running services by executing a netstat -nao command, any port with the status "Listening" means that the tcp port is currently used by another service. You can the identify which program is using one of these port by checking its PID and looking for it in the task manager. Open a task manager and sort all process by PID, then right click on the program and select "Open file location". This should give you some valuable information on the program responsible for this.

it's not one but 3 different computers (no one is the same or have the same configuration)
every one have windows 10 pro genuine and nothing is corrupted
they have the last TSPlus update, tsplus license is valid
the bug is not to connect to the RDP session from Tsplus, it's work well
it's after few times the RDP user and other user lost the keyboard, it's need to reboot the computer ( impossible to work with that)

this is the windows 10 keyboard bug on RDP, lot of people have this bug.
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Fo ... networking

I think windows 10 pro is not compatible to use RDP for more than one user: Admin
I think microsoft is working to stop the possibility to have multiple RDP on windows 10

But their is more than one year you said tsplus is fully compatible windows 10 pro
do you have any solution for us

Hello,

Please open a support ticket here http://support.tsplus.net/ and provide me a way to connect to one of your server so I can diagnose this for you. Your case is rare, but it should be easy to fix.
