One of our clients is trying to simply open attached voice mail file (.wav file) in the email and often says it does not work. After restarting the Windows Audio Service all is fine. We have a script that does it once per hour but it is still not enough and not a good workaround. In the logs it shows multiple times a day audiodg crashing in rdpendp.dll module.
Is that related to TSPlus or this is a Windows 2012 R2 server issue (all patched to latest) ?
We also tried setting up .wav file to be opened on client. This works fine with only some .wav files, some open fine on client some don't. It appears not to be related to file size. Some 3mb file opens fine, another that is 500kb does not. If files are manually copied to the client, they all play fine in medial player on the client, so it is something else.
We need either the windows audio service to not be breaking or the open on client feature to be working consistently as a workaround. Are these known issues? Any known resolution?
