Hello-
A few of the users are having trouble printing via the Universal Printer. Their print jobs appear to have gone into a black hole never to be seen again.
I've seen a few posts in this forum related to this issue. One suggestion was to reinstall the Universal Printer. Another was to install FoxIt Reader. I've installed the setup-UniversalPrinter.exe and rebooted to no avail. I've installed FoxIt Reader but that also doesn't appear to help solve the issue.
When any one of us run a RDC connection to the server, we usually end up with multiple copies of all of the printers installed under our user profile plus the Universal Printer. The default settings for the Remote Desktop Connection client is to have the Printers checkbox checked in the Local Devices and Resources section found under the Local Resources tab.
Are there anything we should be checking?
Running TSPlus 8.20.4.29 on WIndows Server 2008R2.

Issue with Universal Printer
Re: Issue with Universal Printer
Hello,
First of all, I recommend you to make sure you are using the latest version of TSplus. If you are using a version 7.XX or below, you will need to update your connection client as well.
Now regarding the "ghost" printers that may appear on server side when using printer redirection with RDC, you can prevent this behavior by following this procedure : tsplus.net/support/kb/faq.php?id=21
