Flashing of Adobe Reader

Hi Guys,

We have a problem with Adobe Reader. To our knowledge the following happens on two of the Tsplus servers we have running.

1.) Flashing occurs only when Adobe Reader is open
2.) Adobe Reader will flash on and off screen for a few minutes
3.) Everything else will freeze until flashing of Adobe Reader stops
4.) Adobe Reader has been updated to the latest version

The host Operating System is Windows 7 64bit. I've tried the Blinking Patch but this hasn't resolved the issue. I did notice the patch was only intended for Windows 8/Server 2012 though so perhaps it doesn't apply here. Any ideas or suggestions please.

On windows Seven, this flickering is related to the use of Aero effects, it can be disabled in the Windows services management tool (services.msc). Locate the following service, stop and disable it :

Desktop Window Manager Session Manager
