Wrong server time when login via HTML5

Post by Hamun » Wed Feb 25, 2015 7:17 am

Hi,

Something very strange, but when I login using HTML5, the time is wrong, example; if it's 4PM, the server will show 4AM....

The strange thing is when I actually RDP into the 2008 R2 server, the fine is right.

Any help and suggestion is highly appreciated.

Cheers.

I've just noticed this myself. It appears that Windows is showing Time Zone Not Recognized when logging in via HTML5.

Is there any way to set what time zone Web clients will use?

If anyone has this problem, I have a workaround. It doesn't get the actual time zone, but at least it will set the server's timezone, or whichever one you select. If anyone is interested, email me privately (jh1440 at gmail.com), and I'll send you the instructions. Currently, the workaround has been tested with Server 2008 R2. Not sure if it works on other versions.

Hopefully, the developers will deal with this properly soon.

Thank you.
