I have recently setup a TSplus system (3 users)
While setting it up on our internal network, everything worked & tested perfectly.
Now I have configured 2 users at a remote site (connected via IPSec tunnel on a 10mb EFM connection).....1 user has no problems at all, the other (sitting @ the next desk) has constant connection issues & the system appears really stuttery. I have been out at this site today, and I was getting constant disconnects - regardless of which user I logged in as. I had no connection issues while working on the internet network.
The only difference I can find is that the machine without any issues is running RDP 6.1.7601. The other machine is running RDP 6.2.9200.
I tried another machine on site that was also running RDP 6.1.7601 and it ran perfectly.
Any ideas???
Strange issue occurring....

Hello,
I am no IPsec expert but from my experience if you remove this security layer and simply redirect 80 / 443 or 3389 TCP port on your router you will have good performance connecting to your TSplus server.

But 2 machines are sitting side by side, using the same connection - one works flawlessly & the others don't. The only difference appears to be in the RDP client versions.admin wrote:Hello,

Hello,
If you are connecting from older pc using Windows XP I recommend you to update your native RDP up to 6 or above, it should increase your connection performances especially if you use applications with rich graphical content.

I have tested from the following:admin wrote:Hello,

2 PC running Win7 Pro, RDP 6.1.7601 - worked perfectly
1 PC running Win7 Pro, RDP 6.2.9200 - disconnects, sluggish performance
1 PC running Win8.1 Pro, RDP 6.3.9600 - worked perfectly on internal network, disconnect/sluggish on remote network
The 3 win7 PC are all on the remote network.
